PROGRAMS OF STUDY
FaithWalk University offers several degree programs as well as certifications and diplomas
DOCTORAL OF APOSTOLIC MINISTRY
For admission into the Doctoral degree program, a candidate must have a Master’s degree or have completed 30-45 graduate level credit hours or its equivalent, prior prophetic training and MAQ assessment may also be required depending upon program of study. A thesis paper regarding your Doctoral assignment of least 20-25 pages will be required from the student at the end of the program. Successful students who have been called into Apostolic office will have the opportunity to apply for commissioning.
MASTER IN PROPHETIC MINISTRY
The Master of Prophetic Ministry requires prior prophetic ministry training as well as a MAQ assessment. Students will be required to submit a ministry proposal assignment of 10-15 pages stating what they believe their prophetic calling to be as it relates to their area of study. Completion of the Master of Prophetic ministry will allow students to serve as part of a prophet ministry team. Students whose calling into the office of Prophet has been confirmed, will have the opportunity to be affirmed as a Prophet.
Entrance into the Bachelor’s degree program requires an associate or equivalent training. Completion of 45 credit hours. Some programs allows for the student to be ordained. Those called as senior pastors will move into the church planning certification program and may be required to do a year of internship before placed into a Senior Pastor’s role if placement is under Antioch CWC Fellowship of Churches.
Our Prophetic Ministry course is 6 weeks of prophetic ministry training. It is designed to teach those who have an interest about the prophetic the do’s and don’ts of prophecy and how to flow in the gift. It is a pre-requisite for entering into the Master of Prophetic ministry course. It is self-study and must be completed by the end of Module One.
CERTIFICATE IN PRACTICAL LEADERSHIP
Our certificate in leadership is awarded to students who complete all 6 modules of one of the practical leadership programs. . It is designed to teach first time leaders how to lead organizationally inside and outside of the church.
MINISTERIAL STUDIES DIPLOMA
After completing the Certificate in Christian Leadership Studies, a student may complete an additional 32 credits, eight credits in each of the three subject areas Biblical Studies, Theology and Ethics, and Christian Ministry in order to receive a diploma in Ministerial Studies. The first course to be taken in this program is the Ministry Assessment Course, which helps the student assess his/her gifts, calling and on- going direction in ministry. The Ministerial Studies Diploma is designed to equip lay leaders with the Biblical, theological and leadership skills necessary for informed church ministry. For some, this diploma may form the basis for licensing or ordination by the candidate's church or mission organization.
CHURCH PLANTING CERTIFICATE
This certificate can be earned by completing the School of Church Planting. The purpose of this school is to assist pastors with planting new or restructuring their existing church into an Apostolic led prophetic sounding church based upon biblical principles
